CMDI filed the very first electronic FEC compliance report, pioneering digital campaign finance long before it became standard practice.

2006

First Political SaaS CRM

CMDI released the first software-as-a-service CRM built for political campaigns, moving donor and compliance data into the cloud.

2008

Crimson Launches

Crimson, the first web-based enterprise CRM for political campaigns, unified fundraising, compliance, events, and donor data in one platform.

2010s

The Ecosystem Expands

CrimsonFiler, CrimsonPAC, and Crimson Launchpad extended the suite, making CMDI the end-to-end solution for Republican operations at every level of the ballot.

2020s

Intelligence & JFC Automation

Pulse and DialR join the suite, and CMDI builds the first automated system to calculate and report Joint Fundraising Committee distributions.

Today

45 Years Strong

From national committees to presidential campaigns, CMDI remains the backbone of Republican political technology.

Why CMDI

The CMDI
Advantage.

01

Compliance Authority

We filed the first electronic FEC report in 1996. Nearly three decades of accumulated compliance expertise means your campaign never gets an unexpected call from the FEC.

02

Intelligence Layer

Pulse brings predictive donor intelligence into the platform — surfacing which donors will give, when, and how much, so your finance team works smarter and raises more.

03

Integrated by Design

Every CMDI product — Crimson, Filer, Launchpad, Pulse, DialR — shares a common data backbone. No siloed systems, no reconciliation headaches, no double-entry.

04

Security Infrastructure

Campaign donor data demands enterprise-grade protection. CMDI's security infrastructure is built for the sensitivity and stakes of political fundraising.
